This recognition was based on gross company sales of $10M during calendar year 2003.

The company focus is on providing staffing solutions for a broad base of local and national clients. Current nationally-based clients include numerous agencies of the U. S. Government; Textron, Inc. April 30, 2004 News Release. Contract Consultants Inc. announces that the Small Business Administration has completed its annual review and recertified the company under the SBA 8(a) program as a woman and minority owned, small and disadvantaged business. This year’s review was accomplished under a newly established electronic application process which is being pilot tested by the SBA’s Fort Worth District Office. Contract Consultants is among the first companies to go through the electronic process which will become the national standard when the pilot test is completed and changes identified in the test are implemented. Julienne Moore, Chief Executive Officer for Contract Consultants worked personally with the SBA District Office and Vicky Norton to complete the process of entering the data into the system. While there were some ‘bugs’ in the system and the related data entry procedures, the process will greatly facilitate completing the review in future years as the core data is now in the system and will not have to be changed from year to year. As a result, future year recertification efforts can focus on changes in the business model or corporate profile and not on redundant data entry of historical and unchanged information. According to Julienne, this year’s efforts will make future annual reviews and the overall recertification process much easier. Julienne also serves as the corporate Chief Information Officer for Contract Consultants, and is very pleased to see SBA testing and preparing to implement this electronic process. As SBA notes, this is one effort by a Federal agency to make government more accessible to the public it serves and is one of President Bush’s major initiatives under the President’s Management Agenda for “E-government.”

December 15, 2003 News Release. Contract Consultants Inc. announces that a new staffing contract has been awarded by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Fort Worth, Texas. The contract is to provide staffing services for the Southwestern Division of the Corps which includes all of Texas and Oklahoma and several military installations in Arkansas, Louisiana and New Mexico. The contract was awarded by the Corps to support Federal agencies through the Fort Worth Cooperative Administrative Support Unit or CASU which provides services to all Federal agencies This new contract provides for any Federal agency to acquire temporary or long-term staffing services by using the task order approach. Becky Norman, the Account Manager for government agencies is available to assist managers in drafting the required statement of work and then completing the administrative paperwork necessary to comply with contract terms and conditions. Retaining skills lost to retirement is one of the great benefits of this contract. Losing a key person with unique corporate knowledge, project experience, or administrative skills is always a problem, but this contract provides additional flexibility to managers looking for the right solution. It is also available to help managers meet traditional contract professional solutions such as ramping up for new workloads or obtaining new skills that the technological revolution demands in today’s workplace.

November 11, 2003 News Release. Contract Consultants, Inc., announces the appointment of Lee Droemer to manage a newly established environmental remediation division. This division is focused on meeting Federal and State laws regarding the remediation of asbestos, lead-based paint, mold, and similar environmental hazards; and providing selective interior demolition as necessary to support customer renovation requirements. This new division was established because of the significant opportunities to provide abatement services to government organizations such as Veteran’s hospitals, historical courthouses, school districts, military base housing renovation, postal buildings and other facilities. Discussions with various environmental consultants led us to Lee as the right person to develop this division into the quality source we want to represent our company. Under Lee’s expert direction, we offer professional expertise to manage, supervise and deliver remediation projects as a prime contractor. This new capability fits with our existing corporate experience and business model of finding and providing skilled staff to meet specialized needs.
